Cindy graduated from The Education University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Education (Honours) English Language (Primary). She has accumulated more than ten years of full-time experience teaching English and Music at the primary school level. Even prior to entering the education sector, she had already attained Level 4 in the Putonghua oral paper of the Language Proficiency Assessment for Teachers and obtained a Certificate of Merit in the English Language subject, achieving Level 4 to Level 5 (full marks) in Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, and Classroom Language Papers. Since September 2024, this qualification has been recognised by the Education Bureau of Hong Kong as equivalent to an overall band score of 8.0 or above in IELTS (Academic). During her teaching career, Cindy served as an English Language Subject Panel Head with the rank of Primary School Mistress. Alongside her administrative duties and daily teaching of English and Music, she devoted more than a decade to training students for the Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival in categories such as Choral Speaking and Solo Verse Speaking, with her students frequently achieving commendable results and awards across different levels.

Cindy is also a dedicated musician. She earned ABRSM Grade 8 Piano (Merit) in her secondary school years, and later achieved ABRSM Grade 8 Theory of Music and ABRSM Grade 8 Singing (Distinction) during her university years. She was awarded the First Prize in the Soprano Solo (Chinese Song) Open Class at the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival. Even before completing her bachelor's degree, she had several years of experience in Sight-singing and Aural Test Training as well as Classical piano accompaniment, covering both ABRSM graded examinations and competitions at the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival. In addition to classical training, she also studied pop piano accompaniment. Over the years, she has served in church as a worship team singer and musician, choir member and accompanist, congregation leader and organist, and youth choir conductor. Over her frontline teaching years, she also consistently led school-based vocal training, including choir conducting and soloist coaching, with her students earning strong results in inter-school and public competitions.

Her involvement in the performing arts extends to the stage, where she has participated in numerous productions. These include the Leisure and Cultural Services Department’s《Macbeth》(2003), as well as a range of gospel drama productions such as《三個聖誕》,《Up To You》,《尋王》,《我們不再傷愛》,《尋回鼠麴粿的飄香》and《過客 – 王子漫遊記》(1998–2018), along with Gospel Theatre Network's《潘霍華的情書》(2019). Her contributions have spanned multiple roles, including acting, backstage work, live singing, music composition and production, and vocal coaching. In addition, she has participated in recording projects, serving as the lead vocalist in《話語》(西伯作品7) and contributing to《My Lord, My Heav’nly Father》(西伯作品7), 《一千次頌讚》(Promist) and《榮光贊》(Promist).

Cindy also expresses her artistry through original songs and cover songs, which she shares on various music platforms. Her works include《貝殼中的你》,《世代中的光線》,《為我》,《Psalm 23》,《The Father’s Song》,《Dear Moon》,《Von Guten Mächten Wunderbar Geborgen》and《Some Things Are Meant To Be》etc.

In 2025, Cindy founded Muse Corner 覓思覺樂, offering music training programmes and services to schools. Through Muse Corner, she collaborates with schools to provide professional music programmes such as vocal training curriculum, choir conducting, and contemporary music band coaching, empowering students to discover their potential and shine in both school-based and external music activities.
